Description
A powerful artistic project that emerges from an intimate exploration of memory through archival photography and visual art. Natalia’s photographic perspective captures the essence and identity of each woman, weaving together the life stories of Latin American immigrants and refugees in the Lower Mainland. Created by La Libélula, the project fosters safe spaces where women gather through art, build community, and reconnect with their voices in a shared process of healing and reconciliation.
Natalia’s photography and visual storytelling have received recognition, with honours in Canada, Colombia, and Cuba, including the Colombian Ministry of Culture’s Artists in the Diaspora project (2025) and the Re-Generate Ideas Challenge (2024).
