Through a curated program of Canadian and Ibero-American art song, Obsidiana Duo invites audiences on a deeply personal journey inspired by their grandmothers’ histories and their own immigrant experiences in Canada. Pianist Yolanda Tapia and mezzo-soprano Camila Montefusco bring together their diverse artistic backgrounds to share a reflection on identity, memory, and connection, reminding us of our shared humanity across cultures and lived experiences.
