Aftermath of Speeches
November 15, 2026 - 5:30 PM
Presentation House Theatre - Studio, North Vancouver
Duration: 45 min performance
Produced by WHY WHISPER in collaboration with Rafael Zen and Khalil Alomar, exploring fractured language and sensory abstraction.
Description
A multimedia performance combining sound collage, live improvisation, and video art. Languages are fractured, layered, and transformed into abstract sonic material, moving through Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, and English. Drawing from news, texts, and critical theory, the work distorts speech into rhythm, gesture, and resonance. In a world where communication is unstable, it explores perception, meaning, and political realities. The performance invites audiences into an immersive space of fragmentation, abstraction, and sonic experimentation.
