Bero, Nazeer, and Curtis combine genres with a Middle Eastern influence on present songs from various origins, showcasing a rich tapestry of musical traditions. Nazeer brings his Spanish/Arabic flamenco touch to the guitar, Curtis incorporates Indian and African rhythms on percussion, and Bero enchants with his Middle Eastern jazzy vocals and Oud playing. Together, they perform Turkish, Spanish, and Arabic pieces. They aim to captivate audiences with their innovative blend of sounds, inviting listeners to experience the beauty and diversity of Middle Eastern music firsthand.
In the spirit of storytelling, we pause to honour this land's ancient and contemporary narratives. We stand upon the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
